Product Description - OBD Power

⚠️ Important Note on Battery Drain

For the Comma 3X and newer models, the device can be powered directly through the car's harness. Because of this, OBD power is no longer needed for a standard setup. You should only use OBD power if you are a frequent short-trip driver and want to keep your Comma device powered on even when the car is turned off. Please be aware that because OBD power draws continuously, it can drain your car's battery if the vehicle is not driven frequently on a daily basis.

OBD Power is the original Comma power.

It provides 12V power to your Comma device via the OBD port. 12V from the OBD port usually stays alive after the car is off, which means your Comma device will stay on. It also connects CAN bus 3 from your comma device to the OBD port.

It is compatible with Pedal, with the RJ45 port

Update:

We noticed the ethernet port could be hard to plug in with normal ethernet cable.

Therefore, we will include compatible ethernet cable
